First Day of School Pics

I'm a little bit behind :)  Will started second grade with Mrs. Easterly at Oklahoma Christian School.  Joshua started Pre-K at OCS with Mrs. Weber who happens to have been Kent's kindergarten teacher :)  We are excited about a great school year!

Will's Masterpieces

I am putting together  a digital photo book of Will's first grade year.  In the book I include pictures of his schoolwork, artwork and various things he collected throughout the year.  I thought  I would share pics of my favorite art pieces he made last year.

My favorite one.  This picture doesn't do it justice.  It was done with chalk and I love the simplicity of it as it shows baby Jesus in the manger.

Soccer at ESC

Will recently finished his first soccer season with the Edmond Soccer Club.  He had previously played soccer at the YMCA but had recently sat out several seasons.  He was asked to play on a team of first grade boys from his school and move over to the ESC.  We decided to try it and are really glad we did because he had a great season!  You couldn't tell that he hadn't played in about a year.  The ESC is a lot tougher than the YMCA.  The other teams were tough!  I am very proud of Will.  He learned quickly and really contributed to his team.

William is 7!!!

Will turned 7 on July 7 so to celebrate his golden birthday, we had a party at a local gymnastics place.  Will chose to have a camo/army themed party this year.  Several little boys came as well as some of their younger siblings.  We had a great time celebrating Will! 

First Day of School Pics

School is officially back in session!  Will is now a first grader at Oklahoma Christian School and Josh is in three year old preschool at First Presbyterian.  The boys are excited and we are excited about watching them grow and learn new things.

This picture speaks volumes....we took Will to his first day and they had the parents stay to pray over the kids and Josh squeezed in next to Will as if he was starting first grade too.  So precious!  He loves his big brother.
