Earthquakes!

The last couple of days have been interesting around here.

We have experienced three earthquakes in two days.

The biggest one happened on Saturday night at 10:55 pm and it was the strongest one every recorded in the state of Oklahoma, 5.9.

Oklahoma is a crazy weather/natural disaster state and it just continues to get crazier! This year Oklahoma City set a record with over 50 CONSECUTIVE days over 100 degrees! It was crazy and almost unbearable at times.

This year Oklahoma experienced 102 tornados which is up from the yearly average of 62. This was not a record but it was a lot in one year.

This year Oklahoma also experienced a very severe drought as well as dangerous outbreaks of wild fires.

Every season brings something new in Oklahoma but experiencing an earthquake in the middle of a severe thunderstorm that produced tornados in other parts of the state, is a new one for all of us.
