Photoshop Elements

I have had the computer program Photoshop Elements for about two years.  I have tried a couple of times to work with it but have gotten overwhelmed each time.  I still have a long ways to go but I finally had some time last week to sit down and work on learning how to add text to a picture.  Thanks to a handy tutorial I found online, I was able to finally make something!

I love this quote because it is such a good reminder to pay attention because the days pass by so quickly!  I also am a fan of Jen Hatmaker.

Feeling Crafty

Thanks to Pinterest, I want to make craft projects ALL THE TIME!  Here are pictures of my three newest ones.

I have been wanting to do a gallery wall for a long time. I found the Fruit of the Spirit scripture printable on Pinterest.  It was a free one so I sent it to Sam's Club to print.  It has been great to read through it over breakfast and discuss it with the boys.  I am thankful to have such a strong message on our wall for quick reference and a quick reminder when things get a little crazy :)

I have a new found love for patterns.  I love the quatrafoil black and white fabric that I fond at Hobby Lobby.  I incorporated it into both the gallery wall in our kitchen and the fabric covered bulletin board that I made for the side of our fridge.  Also, the yellow "D" on the gallery wall was inspired by another Pinterest project.  It was super easy!  I already had a canvas so I bough the wooden "D" at hobby lobby as well as the fabric.  I painted the "D" with yellow craft paint, sprayed the canvas and the fabric with spray adhesive, folded the fabric over the canvas, sprayed spray adhesive on the fabric and pressed the "D" on and it stuck!  I have a new found LOVE for spray adhesive.

Banner Love

So I have gone a little crazy making seasonal banner for our mantle lately....thank you Pinterest :) I think the Valentine one is my favorite. I love how simple it is. Most of these haven't cost me anything since I already had all of the supplies. Pretty cheap decorations. Gotta love that!

It's that time of year again!

Crafting time! The last couple of years, I have loved making presents for my friends and family. Last year I discovered Modge Podge and there is no turning back! I love how all the scrapbook supplies that I already own can be put to good use for more than scrapbooking.

Jewelry Box for my niece.

Frames for two of my cousins.

One day I hope to have my own crafting room but for now the kitchen table works just fine.
