Whitley at Twenty Months

Whitley is filled with personality at this stage!  She knows what she wants, and she lets you know it too!  She loves her big brothers and also really loves our dog, Arie. She now calls him by name which is really cute!  For a long time, it was just "dog."

Whitley loves chocolate!  Our other two really never did like chocolate but she LOVES it!  She knows where we keep the candy and she will stand there and point up to it until she gets our attention.  The problem is that once we give in, she will keep asking over and over.

In the past week, she has really gotten in to the movie, FROZEN.  The problem is, she won't watch the movie, she just wants to watch the "Let it Go" scene over and over and it is so cute how she says, "Let it Go, Let it Go!"  It sounds more like DET TI DO.  She gets so excited when it comes on and as soon as that scene is over, she starts yelling for it again.  She will watch it 5 times in a row and then we try to cut her off!  She refers to anything with Anna and Elsa on it as "DET TI DO."

Whitley is obsessed with shoes!  Last night she insisted on wearing them to bed!  Silly Girl!  She asks for them first thing in the morning.  She loves trying on other peoples shoes.  If she sees Kent's shoes or my shoes, she will sit down and take hers off and put the other ones on.

Whitley is doing much better with her separation issues.  She will now go to other people which is a welcome blessing for me.  She is slowly turning into a daddy's girl and that is sweet to see.  She willingly goes into the nursery at church and also her class at BSF.  She never really had a problem with that but it is a blessing to see her so happy to go and be with her friends.

She loves to play outside.  We have had some warmer weather and she loves to roam around our backyard.  Overall she is a very happy little girl.

Whitley loves baths!  The problem is, she wants to get in to the bath no matter who is taking one.  She doesn't like it when I turn the bath on for Josh and don't let her get in.  She doesn't seem to remember that she just took one a couple hours earlier….to her its always bath time!

Trying to brush her teeth and eat a sucker at the same time.

Asking for candy

Playing Connect Four

Watching "Let it Go" while she eats dinner….a new parenting low Kent said :)
