Cherished Memories

The reason we went to Atlanta was to spend time with Kent's grandma and grandpa. We had been out there to visit with them before but it had been a while and they had never met Josh so we were thrilled to get the opportunity to introduce them to him. We enjoyed spending lots of quality time at their home and also enjoyed visiting with some of Kent's Aunts, Uncles and Cousins who live in the area.

What a blessing it was to watch the boys interact with Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Graves. Will especially loved being able to play checkers and chinese checkers with Great Grandpa Graves. It was especially meaningful for me to watch since Great Grandpa Graves is Will's only living Great Grandpa. I know for sure that Will knows who they are and will remember the time we spent at their house.

New States

Will is really into geography these days so we made a big deal of telling him about all the new states we would be driving through on our road trip to Atlanta. Will and Josh picked up Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Alabama. Josh picked up Georgia. Will had already been there once before when he was seven months old. We all picked up Louisiana which was the 49th state for me....the only one left is North Dakota and I have no idea when I will get there. We ended up getting pictures of the boys in each new state except for Tennessee. We were only in Tennessee for about 15 miles so it kind of got away from us.
