Catching Up! 4th of July fun

We enjoyed a relaxed fourth of July this year.  We had a cookout with Kent's parents, swimming with our dear friends, the Browns, and watching the fireworks with some community group friends.  We stayed up for the fireworks for the first time in several years.  It was a late night!  The traffic getting home after the show was over was INSANE but the kids liked it...well, Josh did at least.  Whitley was scared and stayed in the van with Kent most of the time and Will wasn't a huge fan.

Snow Tubing!

Last weekend we went snow tubing for the first time.  The event is held at the Bricktown Ballpark, home of OKCs minor league baseball team.  The snow isn't real but it is still a fun event and the boys really liked it.  We went with our dear friends, the Browns, so that made the outing even more special.

Festival of the Arts

Here are some pictures from the Festival of the Arts in downtown OKC.  Oklahoma City has done a great job of improving their downtown and it was great to get out and experience some of it with our friends, the Browns.  Josh LOVED the water feature! We couldn't get him out of it.  Will didn't like it as much because he thought it was too cold.....He needs more meat on his bones :)  We are so blessed by our friendship with the Browns.  We have been friends with them for over nine years.  Their daughter, Grace, is three months younger than Will and their son, Owen, was born on the same day as Josh....same hospital, same doctor...crazy awesome!
